[edit] Poets of the Fall
Hi Pwlodi,
Sorry about the 12/21/06 edit. I can only think that it was an error as I don't ever recall viewing the article. I see nothing amiss and have reverted it.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Take care,

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:POTF logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:POTF logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Beautiful Day Without You.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Beautiful Day Without You.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 02:18, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Royksopps night out.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Royksopps night out.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:31, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:POTF_LUTS.jpg
I have tagged Image:POTF_LUTS.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Rettetast (talk) 17:33, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Prince of Persia: Prodigy
Hello ! According to your this contribution, I will like to ask you to just post an link to the information you have put down there in the article's talk page
Information is always welcome, with proper references. Have nice time editing this article. – Deb ‖ Poke • EditList ‖ 21:41, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
The question is... how do I reference to a video conference that took place in Paris and was broadcast live at Ubiplay.com? wlodi (talk) 22:00, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
-
- Hmmm... ubidays, huh !!! ok. You have any video-clips, or sound resource? If you do, then tell me, I will manage & tell you how to. If not, then well... the data given there is sufficient there for now. You always have the option to post it again whenever you get a solid ref. I edited it a bit for suiting the circumstances. – Deb ‖ Poke • EditList ‖ 22:08, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
-
- I have just visited ubiplay.com and it is stated that the live conference video file will be available later. Will it be enough then? Is there a way to "cite" a video on wikipedia? I have never done it before, so I understand the matter. Anyway, thanks for edit, it sounds good the way it is for now. I just don't understand why have you changed the article name to "Prodigy" - in my opinion, a web page address is not be sufficient to justify the title yet. wlodi (talk) 22:16, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

- You are right, This game possibly (50-50) won't be named PRODIGY, but eventually, the series will be named so, as of Ubisoft. So, there's no need to move the page, it it comes out to be the name of next series, we can change the content & make a new page with the corresponding name of the game. But until its so, we can continue it here like that, because most people will search Wikipedia with the term "Prodigy" at least for now & we should make room for them to give as much info we can.

- As of the embeding video, Well, if its viewable or downloadable, then only make a external link for that. If its too temporery so that the video will be moved from the site within sometimes, then download it, make an upload to Youtube or any other video upload site, then do the same external linking. I think I made you understand. Ciao in 20 Hrs. Leave me messege if you need to (at the bottom of my talk page, not on top please.)

[edit] Prince of Persia (2008) Image Deletion
Hello ! I could not understand precisely which picture you are talking about?
I definitely have changed it, but I think its reverted back (& I was thinking to revert it again.) Actually, for the section "Prince" we need a more precise view on him (& I mentioned it there when changing) & I think, the front view was more precise than the back side view.
I am just wondering only, how can the picture you have provided can be FREE? Welcome to edit in PoP Prodigy, Consult everything in its TALK page, That would be fine. – Deb ‖ Poke • EditList ‖ 16:18, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
Wow !!! its wicked !!! Can you tell me, how to acquire that ? & one thing, I think this pic looks better, can you manage a copyright for that (If possible)? Thanks for posting on the naming dilemma in talk page, but The moving a topic frequently isn't so good, is it ??? Now, the article was with name Prodigy (& eventually its the BEST believed too) now, if its not the name of the game comes out later, we could have directly move it to the confirmed name. But, what we are doing, that making an intermediate stage that leads us to 2 moves at least. Just think about it. – Deb ‖ Poke • EditList ‖ 16:55, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
