- Prisoner Visitation and Support, a prison-visitation program in the United States Federal and Military prisons
- Personal Viewing Sight with a numerical suffix to designate the model. PVS's are used by the American military for passive (non-thermal) night vision devices, such as PVS-14. PVS suffixes range from PVS-2 through PVS-22 skipping PVS-16. Most military PVS's have a civilian equivalent model number
- Polyvinyl siloxane, an addition reaction silicone elastomer used as impression material in Dentistry
