[edit] How "vocal" is the "vocal sample"?
The article states that this record is "based upon a direct vocal sample from Matthew Dear's "Hands Up for Detroit." Does this mean that one can actually hear Matthew Dear in this record? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joe Gatt (talk • contribs) 20:57, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Lyric sample
What is the source of sample lyric in this song? The same sample featured in 1999 Matthew Dear track, Hands up for Detroit, but I suspect much older than that. → friedfish 14:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Title of the record - 4 should be For?
My guess is that this record could have been spelt this way in other countries around Europe. However, in the UK, this record is called "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit". Is this how it is in other countries? Triangle e 11:17, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Detroit techno?
Does this song class as Detroit techno? It has a very 'early synthesizer'-like sound, and the word 'Detroit' is in the title. BillyH 15:41, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
This style of dance music is more an electro/synth style of house (which has been the 'vogue' for a couple of years now) rather than Detroit techno. Detroit techno has a more 'fluid' and soulful sound, if you are after examples of this style of music you should check out artists such as Juan Atkins and Derek May. 81.110.106.253 10:21, 30 November 2006 (UTC)Andy Knight
[edit] US?
What position did it reach on the US dance charts? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.215.131.237 (talk • contribs)
[edit] Yeah Yeah
Has anyone else noticed that the end of this 'song' has the same beat at the end as Yeah Yeah by Bodyrox? I thought the two sounded alike, so I played the two side by side. Are the bands related? 194.74.156.162 14:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Difference in late night version video?
There are two versions of the video, but I couldn't spot any difference in the late night version. What is the difference? Libido 01:30, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Flam005 cover sticker.jpg
Image:Flam005 cover sticker.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
