Puthanvelikkara

Puthanvelikkara is a small village in the Paravur Taluk Ernakulam District of Kerala, India. Chalakkudy River merges with the Periyar River at Elenthikkara in the village of Puthanvelikkara. The village is situated in the road connecting Paravur V.P.Thuruth with Mala, Thrissur. The nearest town is North Paravur 5 km away which is connected through Puthanvelikkara Station kadavu and North ParavurV.P.Thuruth. At present there is a ferry connecting V.P.Thuruth and the bridge is to be constructed in the near future, then the village will be a part of Kochi and the easiest way to reach North Paravur, Ernakulam, Cherai beach from Mala, Chalakudy, Kodakara, Thrissur.
