Puslinch, Devon (Ordnance Survey grid reference SX 570507) is a small but ancient[1] rural [2]locality to the south of Yealmpton village in the South Hams [3]district of the county. Its most famous landmark is Puslinch House[4], a Georgian mansion[5] owned for generations by the Yonge family[6]. Other scenic [7]features include a farm, a chapel[8], a river station [9]and a bridge over the River Yealm[10], notable for the extent of shelter that its steep sides[11] and natural topography[12] offer.
