Pushpavanam is a small village located close to Panagudi, around 55km south of Tirunelveli, in Tamil Nadu, India.
The village is about 80 years old, and has a total population of about 1,000. At least once a year, the village people cook and eat together at "The Asanam". There is a large church in the middle of the village, dedicated to Saint Teresa, which was opened by the Bishop of Tuticorin. The village has a post office and ration shop, and a school; St Teresa Middle School. The village's local festival falls between 22 September and 1 October annually.
Nearby villages include Saidammalpuram to the west, Kadambankulam to the north-east, and Thandaiyaarkulam to the south-east.
