[edit] History

In sixth grade, Baran and DeTurris were good friends. Baran made DeTurris go out and buy a bass, which he did. They formed a band called Kaution which was short-lived. Years later Baran and DeTurris went to Cloud Nine Recording Studio and asked for a guitarist and drummer. They were matched with Scarola and Ries and they hit it off. They began practicing and writing songs immediately.

The orginial band name was actually going to be Neon Nights, but then one day they were all hanging out and CJ went to Derek and said "Press Play!" After saying this they all thought it would be a great band name until they found out a recent album was just released called 'Press Play' so they changed Press to Push thus resulting in the band's current name Push Play.
