Puschkinia is a genus of plants in the hyacinth family. In addition, accordingly GRIN, this genus is sometimes cited in the Liliaceae family. This genus owes its name to the Russian botanist Puschkin. Native to Asia and the Middle East, Puschkinia is a suitable addition to the garden with its delicate little flowers. It requires full sun to partial shade for adequate growth and blooms early spring. The low-flowering (approximate average height is 5 inches) small blossoms in loose clusters are useful for a wide variety of purposes.
