My name is Michael, I'm 21, and I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I'm fully contactable through my talk page, email, MSN, etc. :)

I play Poker semi-professionally, by which I mean, I earn the majority of my income from Poker, and play in excess of forty hours per week. I travel a lot between my home, Sydney, Melbourne, and occasional other location or two because of this. I also work full-time in Retail Management to keep my income stable in off periods.

I'm here to fix typos, revert vandalism and nonsense, monitor recent changes, browse through Articles for Deletion, and make the occasional edit to pages of interest. I participate in Good Article Reviews, too. I made my 1,000th edit on Wikipedia on 17 September 2007, and I'm proud of all of them. Even if it was a mistake, because I can learn from those.

Topics that interest me on Wikipedia are: Anything I don't know about! I love learning - but no so much in a formal environment. I read many, many articles to further my knowledge. Oddly enough, I also enjoy reading user pages as I like to learn about people too - especially the ones that help make this place awesome.

I'm also getting involved (the creation/early stages of) the Australian Chapter of the Wikimedia Foundation..

I assume good faith, believe it is important to be civil and respectful, and believe everyone can constructively contribute to Wikipedia and make it the best damn reference website around.
