Purva Bedi

Purva Bedi (born 1978) is an established Indian American actress. Although she was born in Chandigarh, she was brought up in Belgium and the United States.

Academically strong, she attended Williams College in Massachusetts. She has double degrees in economics, but adopted acting as a career. She has appeared in many television serials as well as in some successful movies, notably American Desi. She is the daughter of Columbia University professor Susham Bedi.
