Purr Mama Resistor

Purr Mama Resistor is a record label and imprint with no fixed address, led by Danish-American Lars Ro (born Lars Rosenblum), a musician, poet, and globetrotter who is always on the move.

The label was originally founded in 1993 as Purderous Magina Records, but it was renamed sometime early in the new millennium.

Most releases from the label are low-budget cassette- and CDR-albums, in addition to usually handmade poetry chapbooks and the occasional vinyl release. Among the bands that has released material on Purr Mama Resistor are sfu-ma-to (led by Lars Ro), The Naked, Obstinate Esther, Haywood, Nasa Dude, Lars Ro, LAMPshADe, Mishima, and Torgo.
