The Purplish-mantled Tanager (Iridosornis porphyrocephalus) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
