The Purplish-backed Quail-dove (Geotrygon lawrencii) is a species of bird in the Columbidae family. It is found in Costa Rica, Mexico, and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
