The Purple-throated Sunbird (Nectarinia sperata or Leptocoma sperata) is a species of bird in the Nectariniidae family. It is found in Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
