Puntallana (first part, Spanish for the point) is located on the east-northeastern part of the island of La Palma in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife of the Canary Islands. Puntallana is linked with a main highway encircling every part of the island and is located north of the La Palma Airport.

The population is 2,380 (ISTAC, 2004), its density is 34.65/km² and the area is 68.69 km²/6,869 ha. The elevation is 420 m. Puntallana offers a panoramic view of La Gomera to the southeast. Puntallana and its natural wonders are a Nature Reserve.
