Punk Jubilee

Coinciding with Queen Elizabeth II Silver & Golden Jubilees. The Silver Jubilee of 1977 was celebrated by Punks with infamous 'Sex Pistols Boat Gig' on the river Thames. The Golden Jubilee was celebrated by Punks with 'Out-Rage' 2002 organised by Mr Nick Nasty & entailed bands playing in 'outrageous' places on the day. Both Punk Jubilees caused some controversy as they were seen to be anti monarchist.
