Puni, New Zealand

Puni is a rural locality in the Franklin District in the North Island of New Zealand. It is predominantly a dairy farming and market gardening area. The main type of crops grown are potatoes, carrots and onions.
Puni is located between the larger towns of Pukekohe and Waiuku. The village currently consists of a rural school, small vegetable shop and a vehicle repair shop. The original village hall has now been sold and is occupied by an Air conditioning supply and repair firm.
