I think it's a stretch to say pulu is a textile, so I removed the category for that. Also, until someone can say what the Hawaiians used it for (I don't know of anything offhand), I removed the Hawaiian culture category as well. KarlM 02:17, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

The silky hairs were used as a wound dressing.
