Surprise, surpise. Another American horror film based on a Japanese one.

Is there a wiki on this phenomenon. I'd be curious to read up on why nobody in hollywood can think up original plots anymore.

Why is it so bad that Americans films adapt Japanese ones for their audiences? I have no qualms about that and I would like to see more American adaptations of the J-Horror so that more people can experience the genre.

If people want to "experience the genre" they should watch the original movies. They are usually about a thousand times better than the remakes.

[edit] Copyrighted content

Hi. I removed the "Plot summary" section because it contained copyrighted content. I found the same "summary" on IMDB as well as Yahoo! Movies. I'm sure the addition was well-intentioned but as it violates Wikipedia's copyright policy, it should not be here.

Nevertheless, please don't hesitate to instert a plot summary, but please make sure it follows Wikipedia policy (e.g.: concerning copyright and original research). Thank you! --Horncomposer 10:11, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it's YTMND, but it's still pretty funny, and most of all, relevant. seriesoftubesmovie.ytmnd.com Series of Tubes: The Movie] -K2JMan 13:56, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Pulseposter.jpg

Image:Pulseposter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:08, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
