Strange - when I created the stub for this page, I included categories, which seem to have been removed. I've put them back in. Palefire 08:21, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Don't see them. Are they removed again? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.112.249.111 (talk • contribs) 14:25, 23 August 2006 (UTC).
- Probably you've seen the cached version of this page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ComradeWolf (talk • contribs) 16:34, 23 August 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Vandalism
Someone retired the info and replaced it with site advertising. I reverted the article. I suggest to protect the article.
[edit] "Black boxes"
I feel that the expression "black box" should be avoided, specially for current events, as it could mislead people in the search effort. I remember that after a cargo plane crash in a populated area near Asuncion International Airport (Paraguay) in 1996 authorities asked for the help of neighbours, and they had to explain over and over again that the boxes they were looking for were not black but orange.

- Yes, I also remember the accident. And I think that what would mislead someone should be avoided when writing about current affairs. So I would suggest "the flight recorder and voice recorder", not "black boxes". --Akira 07:07, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page layout
Reformatted the page layout for clarity and to more closely match the style used in another ongoing air crash event, Comair_Flight_5191 for consistency of presentation. 82.153.129.223 13:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you... this page is now very concise and to the point. Good job everyone who edited it! (now let's hope that it doesn't get ruined in the future) Esn 09:14, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
