[edit] Viagra Bridge
Last October an anon added the line
- This bridge is referred to by the people of Seville as "Viagra Bridge" [1]
Its plausible, but is this true? The Spanish version of this article doesn't mention it, and I don't find any relevant Google hits in Spanish for 'Puente Viagra Sevilla'. Also the bridge was built in 1992, whilst Viagra wasn't released until several years later in 1998. -- Solipsist 11:32, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
This is a true statement. When I was in Seville in 2005 we took a boat ride down the river up to the bridge and the guide, a native of Seville, told us that this was its colloquial local name.

[edit] Guadalquivir River
The bridge does not span the Guadalquivir, it spans the canal which reaches a dead end just north of the bridge. (put San Jerónimo, Seville, Spain into google earth). I have changed the article accordingly. --Greatestrowerever (talk) 18:17, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
