Pudding Mill Lane DLR station is a station on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) in east London. It is situated in the road of the same name.
The station is located on the DLR's Stratford branch, between Bow Church and Stratford stations and is on the boundary between Travelcard Zone 2 and Zone 3.
The station is not a major transport hub, as even during rush hour very few people board or alight the trains here. It is often joked that the sole purpose of the station is for advertising boards, which run the entire length of the platform. Since July 2007 there have been many road closures to allow Olympics developments to take place. These include Marshgate Lane (running parallel to Pudding Mill Lane) which was a major artery in the area. Consequently the station is currently even less busy than it used to be. Ironically the station is expected to be closed for safety reasons during the 2012 Olympics to prevent overcrowding.

[edit] History
This station was one of two stations being safeguarded for future development since the birth of the DLR. The other station is Langdon Park. [1]
Pudding Mill Lane was opened on the 15 January 1996 - previously this location had been a simple passing point for trains on the otherwise single-tracked section between Stratford and Bow Church.
[edit] Future
Under current plans the platforms will be extended to take longer trains from 2010. If Crossrail gets built the station will have to be relocated to the south as the site is in the way of the proposed Stratford portal.
