I've just rewritten and copyedited this article into a higher quality of English. The previous version was apparently by a non-native speaker, but one who did a much better job than I could have managed in German. There is one phrase that stands out as too good to get burried in the history pages, so I've copied it here for posterity
- "There are no turnstilles or other controlling devices. Riders must control themself."
