Public Acadamy For The Performing Arts is a Charter high school located in northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is not part of the Albuquerque Public Schools system. The Most Unique school in the state of New Mexico. PAPA offers many courses to it's students who are in grades six through twelve. To be accepted into this school, you must first win a lottery admission hosted once every year.
PAPA offers Ballet, Flamenco, Hip-hop, contemporary and jazz. It also offers band, orchestra, theater, visual art, film making, fencing, choir, piano lab, guitar, and martial arts. student catherine, grade 7, states, "personally i am a fan of dance and karate, and they both are the funnest classes you could ever take."
