What definition of "public domain" does this category use? US and EU copyright laws (to say nothing of others) do not use the same criteria, which makes the use of this category problematic at best. It also contains no references for verifiability. - JasonAQuest (talk) 20:07, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

This category, per se, includes articles about the concept of "public domain", which I think is fine. It would include, for instance, articles about public domain in various jdx. The subcategories for "public domain works" of various sorts do have issues of the sort you describe. --Lquilter (talk) 06:58, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
