Purushottam Bhaskar Bhave (1910-1981) was a Marathi writer. He wrote novels, short stories, dramas and short essays. He is considered one of the pioneers of short story writing in Marathi. He was also known for political activism. A firebrand proponent of conservative, right-wing, Hindu politics, he had first made his name writing for propagandist periodicals like Saavdhaan and Aadesh in Nagpur in 1930s.
He was elected president of Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, held in Pune in 1977.
