Pu'er (Chinese: 普洱市; pinyin: Pǔ'ěr Shì) is a city in the Yunnan province of southwest China. It is near the border with Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar (Burma).
The urban administrative center of Pu'er is Simao District, which is also the former name of the city itself.
