Hey, I noticed you created Tobi from the anime Naruto. Please don't be offended but I put it up for deletion. According to admins, Akatsuki members aren't notable enough. -ScotchMB 00:30, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Okay. I understand, although could I change it to something like a controversy page?
If you know anything about the NAruto series, then what I'll be explaining next won't require any sort of long winded explanation of references such as "Tobi", "Uchiha Obito", or "Uchiha Madara." If you do have questions. Please quickly look up the Naruto anime series, and do some quick footed and superficial research so that way you can be up to speed.
Okay, here goes... Maybe that is a bit vague. But the identity of Tobi - of who he really is (if it's a "he" at all) - I feel that it deserves it's own page.
Yes, there might be some disagreement to this. But as time goes on, every single character becomes important over time. This is obviously hinted with Tobi - who apparently wields the Sharingan eye. That has to have some history behind it, and recently, has begun a very heated debate. Sadly, it seems rather one sided, and has been somewhat unfair. I feel that there are ridiculous notions that this character is actually "Uchiha Madara". The context of the written work can easily be interpreted as mostly a reference to a certain power, and not as a literal self reference.
As you may check in other sources, it's been rather roughly decided that only one theory would prevail. So I'm protesting such "bull headed" behavior by setting up my own page where not only the idea that Tobi is "Uchiha Madara", but also the theory that Tobi could be "Uchiha Obito".
- I understand but wikipedia is not supposed to be about speculations. Just hard facts. Most of it is just your own thoughts on it. Once again, please dont be offended. -ScotchMB 12:39, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Also, many other characters have done more than tobi and yet don't have their own page. If the admins see this, they might claim that the akatsuki page is causing editors to make non encyclopedic pages and so something extremly annoying such as deleted the list of akatsuki members. It seems like you put a lot of work but it isn't cut out to be an article. Sorry. -ScotchMB 12:43, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Nonetheless, the very same could be said of the "Tobi being Uchiha Madara" theory. It's not concrete enough and far too vague. I've proposed once already for it to be altered or strickened from record, as it has little substance of worth to even me mentioned at all.Psypho (talk) 02:47, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
