Hi! There are a couple of things you can do. Go to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wires On Fire and express an opinion about the article. If you look at other Articles for deletion (AfDs) you will see the sort of comments people make. Try this list Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Log/2007 October 9 to see the sort of discussion going on. Try to be brief in your comments if possible.

However, much more importantly, you can do a search online on the group's name and find news stories about them, preferably from reliable and verifiable sources. If possible, stories solely about the group and its accomplishments would work best. Add the links at the end of the articles under a section "Sources" like this [http://webaddressofstory Title of Story] If you're up to it, you can add information from those news stories into the body of the article. But getting sources that other editors can follow up on is most important.

Hope this helps you. If you have other questions, please ask. Pigman 04:49, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Just an update: the AfD seems to be going strongly in favor of keeping the article so far and the article is looking much better. I've commented there on possibly withdrawing the AfD nomination. I'm uncertain if that is possible once it's started but I'd be surprised if the article was deleted the way things look now. Cheers, Pigman 16:53, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
