Pseudaneitea dendyi is a species of air-breathing land slug, a terrestrial gastropod mollusc in the family Athoracophoridae, the leaf-veined slugs.

[edit] Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand's South Island, in beech forest at Springburn, Mount Somers, and Ben More.

[edit] Description

This species has 14 to 17 branching lateral grooves on either side. The two very thick tentacles are very short, appearing to be not much more than bumps. There is only a vestigial internal shell in the form of numerous small calcareous particles.
