Description

050822-N-6264C-145 Sulu Sea (Aug. 22, 2005) – A combined U.S. Navy and Philippine Navy task group underway during the at-sea phase of exercise Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) in the Philippines. CARAT is an annual series of bilateral military training exercises with several Southeast Asian nations designed to enhance the interoperability of the respective sea services.
