Prvačina (Italian: Prevacina) is a village in western Slovenia in the municipality of Nova Gorica. It has a population of 1169. It is located in the Vipava Valley.[1]

Famous natives include the literary historian and translator Viktor Smolej (190-1992) and trade union leader Dušan Semolič (b. 1947).
