Prunus campanulata (synonym: Cerasus campanulata; common names: Taiwan cherry or Formosan cherry; Chinese: 山櫻花; pinyin: Shānyīnghuā; Japanese: 寒緋桜 Kanhizakura or 緋寒桜 Hikanzakura) is a species of cherry native to Taiwan and widely grown as an ornamental tree. It is a symbol of Nago, Okinawa in the Ryukyus.
