[edit] TfD nomination of Template:Infobox_prussiakstyles
Template:Infobox_prussiakstyles has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you. Charles 17:43, 16 June 2006 (UTC)
- The template was only used for three kings of Prussia, the last three which were German Emperors. The German Imperial template box has been modified to include the royal titles and this template is not longer needed as no page links to it (and there is a standard template for kings). [edit] A short Esperanzial update
As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandals
Sophia Dorothea of Hanover: when reverting a vandal it would be very helpful to look into the list of all vandal's contributions; quite often they vandalize several articles, some of which are on obscure topics and are left damaged unnoticed. Thank you, `'mikka (t) 16:20, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Princess Benedikte of Denmark
There is no need to apologize! You aren't doing the moving :P Had I seen your question earlier, I would have likely answered it. Basically, she would be at Benedikte, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg if that were the primary title she used. The form Princess (name) of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg is reserved for princesses of the family by birth and those married to junior princes of the family. Charles 19:00, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- I know what you mean... I support their right to make a mess because it gives me the right to move things without going through a Request move... The difference is, I'd like to think, that I think my moves out and weigh the options. Charles 19:06, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Maria Teresa, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg
It seems the original article contained a mass copyright violation and had to be liquidated. Then the new crap article was created at the new wrong name. Finally one of these nutty bots deleted the redirects because they redirected to a now deleted page.
As the original contained a copyright violation it cannot be restored (if I did it I could then be sued for the violation). So I have moved the admittedly crap article to the old article space, then undid all the deletions of the redirects. That should solve some of the mess. But it does not solve the fact that the new article is garbage. I am going to bin most of it. FearÉIREANN\(caint) 21:59, 31 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark
Hi Prsgoddess;
From what I have always understood, females have always been in the line of succession to the Greek throne. Whether the rules were semi-salic or male-preferred promgeniture is something that I do not know. However, I have never in my life come across anything referring to Alexia as the Crown Princess of Greece. Such, to me, is the same as calling Elizabeth II the Princess of Wales before she became queen. It is a possibility that there was no distinction been male and female heirs (if there was male-preferred primogeniture) in Greek styling, but at least in the English language Alexia has never been styled Crown Princess of Greece. I have removed the reference for now. Charles 03:15, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
