[edit] MAR Images
I read your section on MAR's talk page about using images on other pages. If you don't think the episode images of some of the Rooks and Bishops aren't suitable (Phantom and Kouga needed pictures of them in their masks as well as Phantom's "Tom" form), you can upload other images of them. We're in need of Bishop and Rook pictures since the Rooks and Knights are already covered. Rtkat3 (talk) 8:00, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] MAR Images Pt. 2
Maybe there is a way for you to upload the pictures of the Bishops, Rooks (or whatever it was you suggested), and/or other minor characters that are recurring and/or non-recurring. There's still a debat of some of those known members in their masks for those who don't know what each one's masks look like (Phantom in his mask was seen on the main picture on the main page). Also, do you think you can find a good picture of Edward (the dog, not the name Snow calls Alan) and Pozan. Rtkat3 (Talkl) 8:11, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] in re images on List of MÄR episodes
Recently, the Image, ImageSize, and ImageCaption parameters were removed from Template:Japanese episode list and related templates due to fair use concerns, which made it so that the images would not appear even if defined, so I've been taking the liberty of removing those parameters from episode lists that were using them. —TangentCube, Dialogues 06:20, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] re: ÄRMs
I was thinking to leave in the Ärm list/descriptions for the Knights and the other Chess with lots of Arms while the lower ranks with few Ärms would just have them listed at the end of their character description. Example:
[edit] Hamelin
Second of the Level 1 bishops to be introduced, Hamelin uses music-based ÄRM. The character is created by a subscriber and based off of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. He fought Alviss in the 5th Round of the War Games and lost. Hamelin's ÄRM include:
- Soul Flute: A ring Weapon ÄRM in the form of a strange flute that saps the magic power of whoever hears its music.
- ???: An unnamed Nature ÄRM that gives him wings.
- Charm Horn: A ring Weapon ÄRM in the form of a medieval horn that creates copies of the user. The copies don't have shadows.
- Bolino: A Guardian ÄRM that summons a large creature with a bat-like face that attacks with its sword-like arms.
[edit] Kannonchi
A star-eyed round-headed Darkness ÄRM master Bishop (Rook in dubbed version) in gentlemen attire who fights solely for thrills and attends little to the joy of killings, Kannochi states that he could have just as easily joined the Cross Guard, showing he isn't actually evil. He lost fighting Ginta in the 3rd round of the War Games and died, but encouraged Ginta into fighting the Knights of the Chess Piece. A user of Darkness and Nature ÄRM, he uses the ÄRMs Body Candle and Dragon Cane.

[edit] Image Request Response & More
Thanks for the picture of Edward, Gaira, and Pozan. I left info stating that some of the Knights of the Chess Piece were masked or hooded until they battle in the War Games (I know that Phantom, Peta, Chimera, and Candice wore masks, don't ask me about which ones were wearing hooded robes that concealed their faces). Speaking of Chess Pieces, did you get message about the Bishops and Rooks (especially if it's Girom, Garon, and/or Leno)? Rtkat3 (talk) 8:50, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] MAR episode list
Sorry for the late response, but I'm afraid I can't help you with it. I'm a dubbie and the list is exclusively for the original version. Matty-chan 16:56, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chess Pieces-related question
I read something that Loco saved Chaton from the Ghost Chess. Do you know what they mean by Ghost Chess? By the way, any chance there can be image caps of the other Bishops and Rooks (whether major or minor). I heard one of the Rooks (namely Rondo) that invaded Kaldea with Phantom makes another appearance when Team MÄR storms Lestvia Castle. Rtkat3 (talk) 6:59, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chess Piece response
It was Rondo. By the way, Chess Pieces is nominated for deletion by somebody. We might need to establish info for Reginrave's princess even when the ending of the series showed her marrying someone (Gaira and Edward the Dog were seen at her wedding). Should we start a sub-page for the Ghost Chess (I don't know each one's rank) like someone did for the Zonnens? Rtkat3 (talk) 1:02, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ghost Chess and more
I have contacted the webmistresses and will update the Ghost Chess page when I get a response. By the way, I saw the episodes on YouTube with Danna-Orb in it and updated his info. A lot of unnamed Chess Piece members were killed amongst Fuugi. I think there was one from Phantom's Kaldea invasion was there also (the one that died in front of Ash). I don't know if the MAR Manga page was either deleted or not added yet. If you ask me, I think Kouga is the largest of the Knights, Pinocchio is the shortest of the Knights, Vidar is the oldest of the knights, and it looks like Chimera has 10 or more eyes where her right eye should be. [edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Koyuki otherchara.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Koyuki otherchara.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 19:39, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Phantom response
I got your message yet you made Ash an exception when it comes to masks. I just learned that Kouga was robed (alongside Magical Lou, Pinocchio, and Rapunzel). This individual pages thing occured on other shows as well. I did add minor characters Barona and Chibo after I saw the episodes on YouTube. By the way, I will update the Ghost Chess page when I get info from MAR-Heaven Journey's webmistress (namely the members and ARM if I ask for this info cause someone else gave us a more-detailed bio). Rtkat3 (talk) 10:20, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:MARHeaven map.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:MARHeaven map.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted after seven days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 19:33, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] MAR-related
I once again contacted the webmistresses of MAR-Heaven Journey and they will contact me when they get the Ghost Chess membership on their site. I saw the episode on YouTube where Alan fights Chaton and I didn't know that Chaton would be wearing a robe like Rapunzel, Kouga, Magical Lou, and Pinnochio did. What can we do to show people what the less-featured Chess Pieces look like? Links to their pictures from other sites! What do you think? Should we upload a picture of each ARM in action on the ARM page? Rtkat3 (talk) 8:58, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ghost Chess update
MAR-Heaven Journey has updated the ARM Page with info on the Zonnen, the Ghost Chess, and filler characters. It helped me identify the members of the Ghost Chess and it's ARM translations will be coming soon (for the Flats, their Ghost ARM are something called Mess and a German version of Little Red Riding Hood). You should look at those updates. Rtkat3 (talk) 5:08, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] MAR Manga
I don't own the manga series, but try looking at the MAR-Heaven Journey for info on it. Outside of that, the definitions and character descriptions of the Ghost Chess will be coming soon when someone adds it. Rtkat3 (talk) 11:20, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] MÄR
- I don't have volume 2, but I think the castle is something like Heinz. I can't get on for a while after this, however, so it might take a while for verification. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 22:31, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Chess Pieces image problems
Durin had the images of the group removed from the pages cause he thinks that they don't go with the articles. Is it possible for you to make individual articles of some MAR characters soon? Rtkat3 (talk) 9:39, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
- Of course they did move Phantom's mask picture to his article which his unmasked picture is. The other Chess Piece members will have their pictures added when they get their own article. When it came to Episode 30, I think the blue-robed one next to Ash and Candice was Galian. You can tell which one is Magical Lou since part of his hooded robe looks like it fits his hat. Recapping that Kouga is the largest of the Chess Piece Knights, Pinocchio's the smallest of the Chess Piece Knights, and Vidar is the oldest of the Chess Piece Knights. Rtkat3 (User talk:Rtkat3) 8:45, 30 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Peta
Thanks for uploading another picture of Peta on his page. If other Knights get their own bios, you know what to do. Rtkat3 (talk) 9:02, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Separate Pages
Chimera and King have their own pages and I will work on the other Chess Pieces when I get the chance. Rtkat3 (Talk) 8:49, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- All the Knights and Chaton have their pages up (I didn't do the personality part of their page). Like I said, you can also help by creating the pages for each member of Team MÄR and maybe any Chess Piece you think should have their own page (ex. Girom, Pano, Gido). [edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Peta ChessPiece.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Peta ChessPiece.jpg.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:33, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Madness response
First off, Pano and Gido's pages were created by Artist Formerly Known As Whocares (who also modified the template) and second, since Durin deleted the pictures off the Chess Pieces page, we had to create articles to put them somewhere (as well as restoring the minor character pictures). Rtkat3 (talk) 8:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
- Would you rather prefer to have their images restored to the Chess Pieces page like I did the the minor characters and Zonnen? Outside of that, the only known Luberians are Nanashi, Master Moku and Chapu, and Stanley if one wanted to have a section in the minor characters part for Luberians. Cross Guard would've had their own section too if we knew more about them (like if there was a prequel to the show). Rtkat3 (talk) 1:24, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] MAR Wiki and more
If you'd like, you can find a way to establish a wiki for MAR like there was one for Marvel Comics, Chaotic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Power Rangers, and Digimon. There, the Chess Pieces can get an individual article. I was hoping you would've added second pictures of Chimera, Ash, Candice, Ian, Rapunzel, and Chaton. - I placed the Marpedia link under the MAR article. It's still in development if you and Artist Formerly Known as Whocares would like to help. Just like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, each member of Team MAR and the Chess Pieces can get their own page there. Rtkat3 (talk) 8:51, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

- Ummm... I have one of those, you know, "life" things. Plus, my idiot parents think my grades of Bs and As isn't high enough (to tell the truth, I'm in the smartest group in my grade, and most of the others were only all Bs or Bs and one or two Cs, so I'm a bit ahead than most) and think it's "best" to limit my computer time to only the weekends (I swear, if it goes any further I will throw sdomething of theirs out my window, and I have done it before, too ^_^ ). Basically, still being a regular editor will be more difficult. Sigh. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 22:47, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:51, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Loco ChessPiece.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Loco ChessPiece.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use.
Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:24, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Babbo ARM.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Babbo ARM.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
