Hi, I'm "Promethh". It's simply an alias I've been using since the early 1980's and not symbolic of anything.

I'm a UNIX Systems Administrator in Washington, DC. My areas of UNIX expertise are Solaris, Red Hat/Fedora, and FreeBSD. I'm in the process of testing for my Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) and Sun Certified Network Administrator (SCNA).

Prior to being a sysadmin, I was a programmer/analyst for over 10 years. My areas of expertise are software development, systems administration, modern literature, and console gaming.
