[edit] Merger proposal

I propose to merge Rosto the piper (character) into this article as an alternative to seeking deletion of that article through AFD. Wikipedia's notability guideline indicates that "A topic is presumed to be notable if it has received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." There is no sourcing independent of the subject in that article or assertion of significant coverage. It does not demonstrate independent notability as set out at further WP:FICTION. The information on this character may belong in the parent article, but it does not meet guidelines at this point as a stand-alone and has, in fact, already been deleted for notability concerns on February 11th under the name Roster the piper (Character). --Moonriddengirl (talk) 01:58, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

hi, I'm vine_archer....im' the original makwer of this...please don't yell at me, first off. I don't mind if this is merged. I dfecided that the hcaracters aren't noticed enoguh and I wanted to make a hcaracter page for each...rosotos my favorite so I started him first. However, I seem to be donig the format wrong..so if anyone can help me with that....ro at least let the character summaries in the Terrier characters sectino larger!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Vine archer (talkcontribs) 00:05, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

Hi. :) Nobody's going to yell at you. (Well, at least I don't think so. :D Wanting to add information to Wikipedia is a good thing.) I've merged the material into this article with proper note in the edit summary to be sure you get authorship credit. At some point, you might want to organize the characters into subheaders. As an example of what I mean, take a look at Young Wizards. Eventually, if the article grows too long, you might consider separating the characters out into a subarticle covering more than one at a time, like List of minor Star Wars characters. Perhaps at some point there will be sufficient secondary sourcing for these characters to develop into stand-alone articles. In the meantime, there's nothing wrong with building on them right here. :) --Moonriddengirl (talk) 02:52, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
