Removed this unattributed claim -- without attribution from a resturant review (or some such article) it is not impartial or objective enough for an encyclopedia article: A commonly used description by detractors of its presence on St. Louis-style pizza is "like runny, white mac and cheese sauce.” Tysalpha 18:05, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

Removed this sentence -- it is a critique of pizza and belongs in the St. Louis-style pizza article, not in one strictly discussing Provel: Pizza made with provel is often found to be distasteful if not un-pizzalike altogether by non-St. Louis residents who are more accustomed to New York style and generic delivery pizza crusts and were not expecting the mid-west to have regional styles of pizza.
