Talk:Protonotary apostolic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For your information, you have to capitalize the word APOSTOLIC!
- While it often capitalised, it is not always. Do you have a source for your claim that it must be capitalised? Wikipedia generally doesn't capitalise words in titles apart from the first one. -- Ec5618 23:05, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

- I believe the article naming follows the WP:MOS#Titles, which says that a title used generically is not capitalized. This article is at protonotary apostolic just as a similar article is at prime minister. When used as a title of a specific person in an article, both words would usually be capitalized. For notice: all senior prelates (prelati maggiore - from chapelains of His Holiness upwards) are adressed as "most reverend", what is the translation of reverendissimus, only priests and junior prelates are adressed as reverend. In Roman-Catholicism styles like the englisch "very revend" and "right reverend" doesn't exist.
