[edit] Future of the name Proornis
The reason why "Proornis" is undescribed and therefore an unofficial name is because the country in which it was found, North Korea, has been increasingly isolated from the world for more than a half-century. Only after talks on Korean re-unification are successful will Proornis be widely known.
