I totally agree that this is a neologism; thus I proposed it for deletion. The MOS inside of my head has still led me to reformat it so that every link is not bold (one of the reasons it seriously resembles a spam article). It reads like an advertisement, and every one of the athletes who have profiles on this page (most of which are used solely for blogging) have had their blog and profile linked to at one point or another (I tried to remove them); again, a strong resemblance to spam, especially in the way these were written. In addition, half of the sources in here were either blogs (I removed them) or don't support the subject (i.e., the research paper on celebrity status).
