Remove the plot holes. Explanations from previous Star Trek episodes after wards:

The Doctor's program is transfered from the Mess Hall to Sick Bay, where he finds out that he's actually human. However, he never questions how he just got to Sick Bay. Answer: The whole thing was a projection. So, the scenery can change and appear in the same way as the EMH's transfers.

If the ship was a simulation, as Barclay claimed, then why were the crew being simulated by the holographic ship's holographic systems and not by the same systems simulating the ship? This doesn't make sense, but can be explained away because the ship is not the simulation Barclay claims it is. Answer: See TNG episode "Ship in a Bottle" where a hologram produced a hologram.

Again, if the ship was the simulation Barclay claimed, why were the simulated tricorders detecting "reality" and not the simulation? Answer: Why not?Kakomu 02:07, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
