[edit] Other contestants?

Erm, can we add that names or data to those contestants who have been awarded contracts, like Derrick. Cause, the show is afterall, finding talents .... 165.21.154.14 10:51, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Too little stuff

Seriously, pls add more stuff. Maybe Pgk might delete this... Tohcc 10:12, 27 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] This article is in a mess

It does not read like an encyclopedic article. Rather, it is like a fan page masquerading as a Wikipedia article. It basically broke every rule in the style book. Part of it is also a complete rip off the official website and probably violates copyright. Someone, please do a complete overhaul! Some guidelines: Wikipedia:Guide_to_writing_better_articles Kengbeng 17:29, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. This article needs real cleanup, you can nominate it for the Singapore Collaboration of the Fortnight. Please remember to sign your comments with four tides like this, ~~~~. --Terence Ong (恭喜发财) 18:20, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for the information. I have since nominated it for SGCOTF. -- Kengbeng 04:03, 30 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] First step in cleaning up this article

Since no one has taken the initiative of cleaning up the article, I shall start the ball rolling. I have deleted the individual profiles from the page because the individual contestants already have their own wikipedia page. Besides that, the profiles are unencyclopedic. Kengbeng 08:26, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

Ok, I have done a fair bit of rewriting the article. However, there are many areas that need improvement. Hopefully, more people will come forward to improve the article. But please, keep it encyclopedic! Kengbeng 09:15, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edit by Fernvale

I noted that you changed the category from Singaporean_television_programmes to MediaCorp_TV_Channel_8_programmes.

Do note that Project SuperStar is a Channel U programme. So I reverted your edit back to Hintha's version. Kengbeng 05:15, 3 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] zh-c template

Hi, noticed the change of template for (simplified Chinese: 绝对 Superstar) to (Chinese: 绝对 Superstar). isn't the zh-s template more suitable? 绝对(simplified) and 絕對(traditional) isn't written the same. Template:zh-c are for characters that are identical in both simplified and traditional. --A10203040 18:20, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the notice. I didn't know there is a difference in traditional chinese for those 2 characters. --Kengbeng 08:03, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome, glad to have helped. --A10203040 08:40, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Too wordy

Whole article too wordy. Format not done properly too. Chunks of paragraphs of words should be given sub-headings for easy reading. Focus more on judges, manner on how result shows are held, and the pre-recording of shows. Secretliker 13:01, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article is too long. Cleanup requires.

Too many information thrown in on the article which are not required. Who's in, who's out are unnecessary for an article. Also see Wikipedia:Article_size, WP:NOT#GUIDE. Cocoma 22:31, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

I deleted a number of the episodes because it is way too much information. Maybe some of them could have a seperate page, but as it is the article is too long. The point of an encyclopedia is to give succint information, not every tiny detail. Seth J. Frantzman 19:33, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Splitted article into 2 sub-articles

As above, links to "main article" of respective seasons are under their respective sections. They are Project SuperStar Season 1 (2005) and Project SuperStar Season 2 (2006-07). Secretliker 17:16, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
