Talk:Project Blue Beam

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I was given this unsubstantiated link (apparently it existed approx a year ago!)

Quote Welcome to historic Maxwell-Gunter AFB; Home of Air University and the 42nd Air Base Wing.

http://www.au.af.mil/au/2025/volume4/chap03/b5_6.htm Unquote

It produced no real page, only an apparent 404.

Allegedly a video existed at http://gprime.net/video.php/totalimmersion

but nothing was visible to me.

Couldn't be bothered trying to chase it thru the WayBack machine or similar.

Not enough for a citation.

[edit] Article Deletion

Given the total lack of credible information on the subject I am planning on propsing this article for deletion. If anyone has any major objections remove the tag. Valhawk (talk)

Since no major improvements have been made to this article, and I cannot find any real info on it, on June 10th I will start the ball rolling on deleting this article. Since the delete nomination was removed by the IP address guy, I will go for a delete discussion. Well till then. Valhawk (talk) 04:36, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Lack of Credible Sources

There is a serious lack of credible sources for this article. The two current sources link to a geocities page with no sourcing information and a maybe-authentic document that has little to do with the article.

The internal links to other Wiki articles that are at best tangentially related do not make of for the total lack of credible sources for this article.

If the author or major editor could respond to this I would be most obliged. Valhawk (talk) 18:16, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I am considering adding the unverifiable tag to this article. The attached link, in my opinion, does not me the Verifiability standards set out in Wikipedia:Verifiability Seeing as how I can't find any verifiable sources on this article I am seriously considering moving this to a deletion discussion. However, I will first give the author responsible for removing the deletion nomination to improve this article or refute my claims. Asuming he even reads the talk section. I wish he or she would get an account so I could leave a message on their talk page, but I digress. Bottom Line, this article needs credible sources or it needs to be deleted.Valhawk (talk) 22:58, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
