Talk:ProjectPier
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This project is a significant article because the activeCollab project was initially created as an opensource project and has since closed its source. Therefore this new project is the only opensource project of its kind. It is not a blog or a personal website, it is a international effort to create a platform for collaborative efforts in a web application.
Please explain why you feel this project does not meet the important criteria. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rcrossvs (talk • contribs) 22:18, 7 August 2007
- It's not about whether it is notable at this point - the article must state why it is notable. If you are editing the article, why don't you add your assertion above, into the text. the_undertow talk 02:35, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

- Fair enough, I thought some of those comments might not appear very NPOV. I have added some of these details to the main summary. Is there futher significance that needs to be asserted? or can you remove the speedy deletion tag now? Rcrossvs 05:24, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

- I would add that there are no significant references... articles, or some form of independent information that substantiates notability. The current references simply point to the license being used. I would concur with deleting this article until some sort of notability can be shown rather than just asserted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.21.153.239 (talk • contribs) 03:20, 8 August 2007

- I've come here searching information about open source Project Management software, and I must say that I've found this article informative and the project itself very relevant. After checking similar articles, like DotProject or Project.net, I think that this one has a similar level of quality and interest. My personal opinion is that this article should not be deleted, although it needs a bit more work. Regards, -- Wayfarer.es 13:14, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
