[edit] Grad Students Uncover Progressive Jackpot Probability Patterns!
I'd just like to second the reversion by 71.16.178.222 of the http://www.jackpotalarms.com site. I'd hope that most here would realise that unless there is something seriously wrong with the random number generator used, predicting anything about jackpots is pure crackpot. --Mike Van Emmerik 23:04, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
I was just noticing the linked jackpot alarms site, noticing that the claims there seem ludicrous. It discusses "grad student" work without citation, and has payoff numbers on the site that move in real time but appear to be generated by random numbers in javascript upon viewing source. I came to the discussion page before taking jackpotalarms off. I'm taking it off. If it was simply a list of online progressive jackpots that'd be one thing, but it's explicitly claiming to be something that it clearly is not. 19 July 2006 UTC
