I've rearranged the article to place the chem eng stuff at the top. The term is often synonymous with Chem Eng. The term Process Engineer redirects to the Chemical Engineering article. I don't know anything about the Comp Sci use of the term.--Journeyman 03:16, 7 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Process engineering

I've seen the term process engineer used more generically referring to Engineers of all disciplines involved in manufacturing processes. Perhaps this article should explore the wider definition a bit more. --Renier Maritz 11:25, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Agreed, and it used to. I don't know why someone nerfed it to refer only to chemical engineering. It was better before the changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.15.55.127 (talk) 02:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
