[edit] Support Section

equals unnesacry. Should be canned. --Commander gree 06:36, 2 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] from Vfd

On 19 Feb 2005, this article was nominated for deletion. The result was keep. See Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Proboards for a record of the discussion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Korath (talkcontribs) 12:24, March 5, 2005

[edit] Information about V4 Update

I have added some information which I thought was useful to the page. This information covers some basic new features in the version 4 update. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Technonerd0110 (talk • contribs) 1:44, June 5, 2005

[edit] A lot of edits on same day - High Traffic - explanation

The explanation of all the edits to this entry on November 19th and 20th was due to a topic made on ProBoards Support telling about this Wikipedia entry. The High Traffic template will be removed after that topic is dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Real decimic (talkcontribs) 07:33, November 20, 2005

Removed the notice as the topic is locked and dead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Real decimic (talkcontribs) 2:38, November 23, 2005

[edit] Martyn

martyn gives free spelling lessons? martyn is a mod on proboards, removal ASAP —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.4.175.60 (talkcontribs) 3:38, February 17, 2006

[edit] Protect temporarily

Apparently under attack by anonymous users. Should be temporarily protected for anonymous users. Marcos Juárez 17:09, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Easier to request here: Requests for Page Protection. --real_decimic 03:38, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] General

"Last, but not least, the general talk forum is there for members to chat with other friendly members. The rules are enforced by a team of moderators, so although the rules are stict, it is necessary to maintain order." Should that whole paragraph be removed? It is hardly needed, and isin't really true anyway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Declivity (talkcontribs) 21:18, April 1, 2006

Wow. this really needs to be cleaned up! Its a mess and barely readable. No punctuation, basically. An outsider who has never been to proboards would never get this.--24.168.149.141 17:20, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

That link at the bottom "healthty Proboards forum" is just advertising. It should be delted. --24.168.149.141 17:20, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Stupid Edits

This post on ProBoards's support board says that anyone making stupid edits on this article will find themselves banned from the support board. It is also considered vandalism on Wikipedia. --real_decimic 00:39, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Larry

How can we make it so the proboard 's sites we make are included in the search menu? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Declivity (talkcontribs) 21:18, April 1, 2006

Here is not the place to ask. This is a talk page for the article ProBoards, not the ProBoards Support forum. --real_decimic 22:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Servers

I've reverted the information about servers (again!) to the correct number. This number refers to the number of physical machines that ProBoards owns, not the highest number in the proboards##.com domain names.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.114.241.208 (talkcontribs) 20:00, September 13, 2006

Remember: Some servers are combined. Those servers would only be counted as one. --real_decimic 22:37, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Here are the combined servers:

  • Server 1, 4 ,6
  • Server 2, 5
  • Server 7, 9, 10, 11
  • Server 12, 13, 14
  • Server 15, 16, 17

[edit] Service Statistics

Should either be renewed or removed. It sounds like an advertisement, and the numbers are constantly changing. Tjsmith 00:12, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Has been renewed. Stating how many albums a band has sold is not an advertisement, so stating how many forums a business hosts shouldn't be either. 86.137.115.61 03:16, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Should really have an "as of" so people know when the "currently" really means. 160.253.128.7 14:30, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Adam as staff

Should a/any "forum service that shall not be named" be named in the ProBoards Wikipedia entry?

Yes. This isn't the support forum. T.J.T! 05:58, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Wikipedia is an independent encyclopedia, providing unbiased information. The reason HB can't be talked about at the PB Support forum is because it's somewhere between impolite and unfair to PB to use its own official forum to talk about competing products. 86.151.139.148 (talk) 23:17, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
