Provincial Mathematical Olympiad

The Provincial Mathematical Olympiad is a mathematical olympiad held at the provincial level. Depending on the country, high school students will progress through varying rounds of competition before reaching the International Mathematical Olympiad.

The Provincial Mathematical Olympiad is organized annually by the academic administration responsible for the competition within the province. Winners of the Provincial Mathematics Olympiad will typically move on to a state or national math olympiad before reaching the international round of competition.

Among the countries that hold this level of competition are China, Cyprus, and Indonesia.
