Provider Aggregatable Address Space

Provider Aggregatable Address Space (PA-addresses) are Internet Protocol addresses assigned by Regional Internet Registries directly to an Internet Service Provider which can be aggregated into a single route advertisement for improved internet routing efficiency.[1]

Unlike Provider Independent Address Space IP addresses, the end-user can not take the numbers with them if they change ISPs.
